An Open BOOK
Bill Browder has a new book out called Freezing Order. In his second book, he shares how his actions of exposing corruption in Russia at the highest levels led him to be in the crosshairs of Vladimir Putin. He shares his quest of having the Magnitsky Act passed not only in the US and Canada, but in Europe. The first chapter is like a scene out of a movie. I am listening to the book on audible every chance I get. When I am walking the dog, driving, doing housework. I can’t put it down.
If you haven’t read Red Notice, Bill Browder’s first book, you are in for a treat. I recommend this book more than any other book I have read. In it, Bill explains how he came to be a hedge fund manager in Russia, exposing financial crimes, and corruption. His lawyer, Sergei Magnitsky was killed for having exposed how $230 million in tax money paid by Bill’s Hermitage Fund, was stolen from the state. It is an amazing book made even more amazing because it is true, not fiction.

The Lincoln Lawyer on Netflix is amazing. I love lawyer shows and this one hooked me within the first 5 mins. The plot is great following one case through the whole series until the verdict. However, it was all the characters that really made this show a winner for me. The casting was done very well I liked the main character Manuel Garcia-Rulfo who plays Mickey Haller, the defense attorney. He’s called the Lincoln lawyer because he works out of a chauffeur-driven Lincoln. Along with the trial, he is rebuilding his life after an accident in this first season. Neve Campbell plays one of his ex-wives (yes there are more than one). His other ex is played by Becki Newton and she and her fiancé (played by Angus Sampson) work with Mickey running his office and investigations.
I flew through this series in a weekend and wanted more! Hope you enjoy!!

If you love a good laugh, my kids and I love these 2 Ted Talks by James Veitch. They are both ranked as two of the funniest Ted Talks ever. I love that they are light-hearted and just make me smile and laugh every time I watch them. Who doesn’t need a good laugh some days? On top of that, they inspire you to approach life in a more positive way.

No Worse for WEAR
Ever tried OOFOS? I have been a fan of them for years. One day. I saw one of the moms at my kids’ karate school wearing them once and they even LOOKED comfortable. She sang their praises, and I bought them the next day. I have never looked back. I’m on my 4th pair. Once I put them on for the season, they don’t come off much. I am always amazed at how comfortable they are especially on my heals. My daughter’s feet are now my size, so I lost one pair to her. They are currently $69 on Amazon.
FOOD for Thought
As summer approaches and we are doing more and more grilling outside, it’s nice to have a go to salad. My

I love a good bag, especially a big bag. Big bags are in this year, but they have never been out for me. I someone in front of me in the Altheta line that had this bag and I had to have it. I found it on Amazon, (isn’t everything!
– LOL), and I love it. Its super cute and I can’t tell you how many people have told me they love this bag. Even though it’s cheaper than most of my other bags, I have gotten far more compliments on this bag. Win! Win!
It’s actually a beach bag, but I use it every day. It has side snaps and a middle snap as well so when all the snaps are closed, the bag looks much smaller but, it can hold a ton of things. I took it on the plane with me to Iceland and was able to use it as my carryon/ purse, so I only had one bag. You can find it on Amazon now for only $59.99.
TRIP of a Lifetime
I have always wanted to go glamping. Don’t you just love the idea of being outside in a tent, but super comfy. I found a campground in Kennebunkport called Sandy Pines Campground that is perfect. First of all, Kennebunkport is amazing. Its right on the ocean, super cute with amazing seafood. Then you add in staying in a tent with a king-sized bed, a deck with seating area. The tents are placed on a wooden platform which is the floor for the interior and outside deck. Each tent also has a mini fridge, firepit and includes all linens and an outside cooler.
